Testimonials
I recently had some moles removed for cosmetic reasons by Andy. I was quite anxious about the procedure, but Andy reassured me about the quick and simple process of mole removal. He made me feel at ease the whole way through.
I have very little scarring and the whole experience from my first consultation to full recovery was great, I would highly recommended.
I had a mole removed from my head by Andy, and the experience was great! The procedure was quick, and my stitches healed perfectly. I highly recommend his professional care.
I’d had a benign bony lump on my forehead for a couple of years and although it wasn’t causing any discomfort I was self-conscious about it. Andy Pascoe removed it for me. He fully explained the procedure to me, including the risks of minor surgery. The procedure was painless. He gave me clear instructions for aftercare.
The wound healed without complications and has not left a scar, I have no hesitation in recommending his service and would certainly use him again
Mr. Andy Pascoe MSc., Dip HE, MCPara
Andy developed an interest in healthcare while serving for 10 years in the Royal Marines Band Service. As part of his secondary role, he was attached to the Royal Navy Medical Squadron, manning field hospitals in places such as Norway.
After leaving the Royal Marines in 1994, Andy started working for the Sussex Ambulance Service, which later became the South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. He spent 2 years providing routine patient transport services, which helped him build a strong foundation in basic ambulance aid, patient care, and interpersonal skills. In January 1997, he moved to frontline ambulance duties. After gaining 3 years of experience as an Ambulance Technician, he completed his IHCD Paramedic training in July 2000. He was later promoted to Clinical Team Leader and spent 4 years as a HART Team Leader in the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART).
In 2015, Andy made the decision to train as a Paramedic Practitioner and was accepted into St. George’s, University of London to pursue a 2-year Diploma in Healthcare Practice. After successfully completing the Diploma in Higher Education, he undertook a 3-month practice placement in a GP surgery, which ignited his passion for Primary Care. Consequently, in April 2017, and following the award of the Queen’s Long Service & Good Conduct Medal, he decided to leave the Ambulance Service after 22 years and joined High Glades Medical Centre in Hastings.
Andy’s time at High Glades has been a steep learning curve and he experienced some difficult times for the NHS with the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, this time in Primary Care has been very fruitful and an interest in dermatology ensued. Andy developed his interest in minor surgery and after a period of training and mentorship with the Community Dermatologists, carries out minor skin surgery for the practice under local commissioning services (LCS). In 2019 Andy gained a scholarship from Health Education England (HEE) to study for a Master of Science Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice at the University of Brighton. He graduated in 2024 with Distinction.
To pursue his interest in minor skin surgery, Andy founded Panacea Skin Clinic. The clinic allows him to carry out procedures important to patients that are not funded by the NHS due to budget constraints. He still works part-time for High Glades, which enables him to keep abreast of any changes in guidelines, research, and techniques.
Andy is currently studying for a Post-Graduate Certificate in Dermatology with the University of Plymouth.
